ANNE TRAUBENArtist, Gallery Director, Curator, Publisher/Editor
Anne Trauben is a visual artist, Gallery Director and Curator at Drawing Rooms, a non-profit art space and gallery in Jersey City. She is the Founder/Producer/Editor of Nieuw Art Blog. Anne began working with Victory Hall Inc. in 2009, and was a Founding Artist of Drawing Rooms in 2012. She received a BA in Studio Art with a concentration in ceramics from Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ and was awarded a fellowship to study art in Rome from Temple University's Tyler School of Art, Philadelphia, PA where she received an MFA in Ceramics. ANDREA EPSTEIN, Artist, Art-Writer
Andrea Epstein is a painter and printmaker who creates vibrant abstract mixed media works on paper incorporating a variety of printmaking techniques in her own print studio in Berkeley Heights, NJ. Andrea’s complex color monoprints were awarded a NJ State Council 2022 Individual Artist’s Fellowship in Printmaking. Residencies include, The Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA, and The Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. She has exhibited her work widely in the Tristate area. Andrea’s artwork is in both private and permanent collections in the United States. and Europe. BRUCE HALPINArtist, Art-Writer
Bruce Halpin is an artist whose work includes paintings, drawings constructions and installations. Mr. Halpin earned his MFA at Columbia University and has been a recipient of an Edward F. Albee Foundation fellowship. His work is included in numerous collections, both public and private. Mr. Halpin lives and works in Jersey City. Learn more about Bruce's work here.

CLAIRE MCCONAUGHY, Artist, Art-Writer
Claire McConaughy earned her MFA in painting from Columbia University and her BFA from Carnegie Mellon University. She has exhibited in galleries including Red Fox Contemporary Art, Garvey-Simon West, The Drawing Center, The Painting Center, Sherry Leedy Contemporary Art, Zürcher Gallery, 490 Atlantic and others. She is the recipient of a MacDowell Fellowship, Millay Arts Residency, Ucross Foundation Residency and Santa Fe Art Institute Artist’s Residency. Her work has been reviewed in Art Spiel, artcritical, White Hot Magazine, Hamptons Art Hub and other publications. She served on the editorial board and staff of the art journal New Observations for over a decade, has taught at several NYC art colleges and is currently a full professor at Bergen Community College. JAMES PUSTORINOArtist, Exec Director, Art-Writer
James Pustorino is an artist, arts organizer and the Founder and Director of Drawing Rooms, a Victory Hall Inc. non-profit art center in Jersey City. He has been Director of Victory Hall Inc since 2001 and was one of the founding artists of Drawing Rooms in 2012. Pustorino received his BFA from Carnegie-Mellon University, and has exhibited in venues throughout the U.S., including the Columbus Museum, The Butler Institute of American Art and Jersey City Museum. More recently he has exhibited his work at Chambers 916 Gallery in Portland, OR, Odetta Gallery in Brooklyn, Gallery Bergen at Bergen County Community College in Paramus NJ and Hudson County Community College in Jersey City, NJ. His work uses graphic, abstract and realistic form to explore concepts of narrative and spatial/structural composition. Learn more about James work here.

KATE DODD, Artist, Art-Writer
Kate Dodd received her B.F.A. from Pratt Institute in 1983, and her M.F.A. from Columbia University in 1990, and currently lives and teaches in New Jersey. She has exhibited her artwork nationally in museums, galleries, and colleges, and has been teaching art in public and private schools for 25 years. Kate has been awarded residencies at MacDowell, Rutgers Center for Innovative Print and Papermaking, the Connemara Conservancy, Cummington Community for the Arts, the Vermont Studio School and numerous schools in the tri-state area. In addition to site-specific installations, Kate has large scale works commissioned by NJ Transit in Bayonne, Newark, South Amboy, and Hoboken.  Kate's installations provide a heightened sensory experience for the viewer/occupant, while reexamining institutional and conventional notions of architecture and its relationship to the environment. LINDY JUDGE, Art-Writer
Lindy Judge is a writer and editor. For over 15 years, she has been Managing Editor at Joost Elffers Books and a consultant at Scholastic, Inc. She also works with a number of commercial and private clients, including authors of fiction and nonfiction, academics, and artists. A native of Massachusetts, Lindy has lived in a number of cities in the U.S., as well as in France and Germany. She currently resides in Jersey City.

LUMANE LUMA, Art-Writer 
Lumane Luma is a curator and the founder of Luma Art Advisory, a fine art marketing agency. Luma’s career in the arts has been fostered by the art districts throughout North Jersey, which shaped her sense of community to continue its sustainable growth as a valued asset to municipal development and cultural identity.


MEGAN KLIM, Artist, Art-Writer
Megan Klim is a mixed media artist who lives and works in Jersey City NJ. Her work has been exhibited in NYC, PA, MI, and Art BASEL, Miami. She has curated several shows and is the Chair of the Fine and Performing Arts Department at Saint Peter's Prep. Learn more about Megan's work here.

MIDORI YOSHIMOTO, Ph.D., Art-Writer

Midori Yoshimoto is associate professor of art history and gallery director at New Jersey City University. Yoshimoto's areas of expertise are post-1945 Japanese art and its global intersections, with a particular emphasis on women artists, Fluxus, and intermedia art. Her dissertation, Into Performance: Japanese Women Artists in New York, was published in 2005 (Rutgers Univ. Press). She contributed to numerous museum catalogs, including: Yes Yoko Ono (Japan Society, 2000); Japanese Women Artists in Avant-garde Movements (Tochigi Prefectural Museum of Art, 2005); Dissonance: Six Japanese Women Artists (Toyota Museum of Art, 2008); Yayoi Kusama (Centre Pompidou, 2011); Ay-O Over the Rainbow Once Again (The Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo, 2012); Gutai Splendid Playground (Guggenheim Museum, 2013); and Yoko Ono One Woman Show (MoMA, 2015).

MONA BRODY, Artist, Art-Writer
Mona Brody is an artist and educator and is one of the founding members of Manufacturer’s Village Artists, she established and helped develop the artist community in East Orange, NJ. She has shown both nationally and internationally, honors include a 2023 Artist Residency Diderot Award, Château d’Orquevaux, France. Learn more about Mona's work here.

PE PINKMAN, Artist, Art-Writer
PE Pinkman is an artist, curator and the director of the Watchung Arts Center, a 501c3 non-profit. His artwork blends vibrant colors and dynamic forms to explore themes of identity and urban life, creating a striking dialogue between chaos and harmony. He has curated well over 500 exhibitions in NYC and NJ and continues to use his position at the Watchung Arts Center to promote and highlight the work of talented NJ and tristate artists. PETER DELMAN
Artist, Art-Writer
Peter Delman lives and works in Jersey City, New Jersey.  He has a BFA degree from Middlebury College where he majored in art and concentrated in painting. He has an MFA degree from the University of Massachusetts where his concentration was also in painting. He shows his work regularly in regional galleries and museums. Delman teaches at The Pingry School in Basking Ridge. He is active in environmental projects at the school and in Jersey City. TRIS MCCALL, Musician, Art-Writer
Tris McCall has lived in Hudson County for 25 years. He's written about art, architecture, music, local politics and public culture for many New Jersey periodicals, including Jersey Beat, The Star-Ledger, NJArts, Inside Jersey, the Jersey Journal, and The Jersey City Independent. Tris covers art shows for the new Jersey City Times and NJ Arts. WINIFRED MCNEILL, 
Artist, Art-Writer
Winifred McNeill is a multidisciplinary artist working at the cross-section of sculpture, ceramics, found object assemblage, painting, and drawing. Exhibiting in national and international venues, her work is held in a number of private and public collections. Awards and residencies include the European Ceramic Work Centre (EKWC) in Oisterwijk, The Netherlands; Virginia Center for Creative Arts; the Millay Colony for the Arts; and Yaddo. McNeill received a BFA from Boston University and an MFA from Queens College, CUNY. She taught at St. Stephen's School in Rome, Italy, and later was Curator of Education at the Jersey City Museum and then professor in the Art Department of New Jersey City University. Learn more about Winifred's work here.
